We want your Slime Shady goodies to stay squishy, stretchy, and amazing for as long as possible! Taking care of slime is super easy—here’s everything you need to know.

What’s Slime Activator? 💧

Slime activator is the magic juice that keeps your slime from getting too sticky. Every order comes with a baggy of white borax powder so you can refresh your slime whenever it needs a little love. Mix 1 TSP borax powder to 1 cup warm water and stir until diluted.

👉 Before you play, poke your slime—if it’s sticky, add just a couple drops of activator.
👉 Knead it in really well.
👉 Repeat only if it’s still sticky.

⚠️ Careful! Too much activator = stiff, crunchy slime (and no one wants that).

➕ TIP: Add a few drops of activator to your hands before going in to play with the slime! This creates a non stick barrier between you and the slime which can help if you have hot hands!

How to Keep Your Slime New 💕

• Chillin’ in cool temps ❄️

• Clean, freshly washed hands every time 🧼

• Play on a clean surface 

• A cozy airtight container 🫙

• Tiny activator touch-ups here and there ✨

Avoid These 😖

1. Being left out—it dries up quick ⏳ only play for 10 mins at a time!

2. Hot spots (it gets melty fast) ☀️

3. Dirty or greasy hands 🙅

4. Clothes, carpets, or fabric (it LOVES to stick) 👕
   

Quick Fixes 🛠️

Sticky slime?
Add a few drops of activator and knead until perfect again.

Stiff slime?
Knead it and let it rest in its airtight jar for a few days to a week. It should soften as it melts (you can set next to sunny window to speed it up). 

Cloudy clear slime?
Totally normal after playing. Just let it rest in its container and it’ll clear up again in a day or two as long as you washed your hands before play!

Forgot to put it away?
If it’s a little dry, try lotion or warm water. If it’s rock hard… time for new slime, bestie.

Slime on clothes or fabric?
Don’t panic! Slime is water-based—just wash with warm water and scrub. You can also use vinegar to scrub it off. Make sure to use gloves. Please avoid getting it on clothing and play on a clean surface!
